Knowing yourself as a believer

This Sunday we enjoyed a lot in church as there was prize distribution ceremony.

Today’s church preaching was done by our Pastors mother in law. She is really great and blessed lady. From 40 years she is in teaching field. At the age of 18 she started teaching. She comes from Hindu Brahmin family. But our great Lord transformed her life miraculously.
I loved the way she started preaching and she took a very common topic that as believer what we should do and what we must not do.  And she also declared that whoever will give answer in between the preaching will get prize.

The things we should not do as believer are unforgiveness, unresolved anger, selfishness, lust, idolatry and pride etc. and things which is necessary for a believer of Christ is to help the needy, go to church on Sundays, prayer for self and everyone, loving your neighbor, forgiving your enemies, reading bible daily, memorizing scriptures, spreading the gospel, respecting elderly and parents, fear GOD.

In church also she was preaching us as a teacher so that everyone is gaining knowledge and getting blessed. And finally she thought knowing ourself as a believer.

I was really blessed. :-)

Thank you for stopping and visiting my website. God bless you.

God's Promise - To love you forever

Isaiah 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Can you imagine having someone to be eternally loyal to you, someone to love you forever? For most of us, even the thought that there is an eternity just blows our mind. We can’t imagine our self being 80 years old which is much less living forever and ever and ever. But our God loves so much that he promises not only to let you live with him forever, but to love you and be loyal to you. That’s the friendship our God have for us.

God has so much confidence in who you are, who he made you to be, that he want to spend forever with you. Even if your friend had desert you, he would still love you. If you did something and hacked off everyone you know, he would be loyal to you. God has not committed himself to you for the length of your life but length of his life i.e for the eternity.
