Isaiah 41:13 - For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.'
In the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Bible). The king had thrown these 3 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego guys into the fire because they would bow down to God. But the fire didn’t burn them up. And when people looked into the flames they saw four men. Well here the fourth person was JESUS. Because he was with those guys they didn’t burn. In fact they didn’t even smell like smoke when they came out.
Well, Jesus is with us in the same way. In Isaiah he says he is holding our hand. He is with us through the fire of hard turns in your life preventing the flames from injuring you but letting the heat melt away some of the things about you that are not godly. With holding your hand he can calm you down when things aren’t going so well. If you wont let go of him, he can lead you to the place he wants you to be.
