Isaiah 55:3
Can you imagine having someone to be
eternally loyal to you, someone to love you forever? For most of us, even the
thought that there is an eternity just blows our mind. We can’t imagine our
self being 80 years old which is much less living forever and ever and ever.
But our God loves so much that he promises not only to let you live with him
forever, but to love you and be loyal to you. That’s the friendship our God
have for us.
God has so much confidence in who you are,
who he made you to be, that he want to spend forever with you. Even if your
friend had desert you, he would still love you. If you did something and hacked
off everyone you know, he would be loyal to you. God has not committed himself
to you for the length of your life but length of his life i.e for the eternity.
